The purpose of this site is to provide a view of Margaret that is more personal than her obituary (you can contribute photos and memories here). It also forms an outline of the Memorial Service at CUMC on July 24, 2024.

This photo loop was played before the service begins, and after the service.

Psalm 23 was Margaret's favorite scripture.

Here is an audio recording of the King's College Choir, singing

"The Lord is My Shepherd" Psalm 23 from John Rutter's Requiem

We have many examples of people who suffered and overcame their grief.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer was imprisoned and later executed for his role in the Abwehr plot to kill Adolph Hitler. Just months before he was killed, he wrote this poem from prison as a New Year's greeting to his fiance.

Here is the translation into English and music written by Sigfried Fietz.

John Lennon wrote "In My Life" in 1969, and this is a version on the 1998 album by Sir George Martin.

I played the entire album for Margaret in 2023, and this was her favorite from that album.

We will close with this hymn frequently sung in the PACE class.
